Registration to start at 7am and offers 3 tours to choose from: 62 mile, 32 mile and the 10 mile family fun...all for one same price ..$25. Proceeds go to support Deaf Services Center's Youth programs and also celebrates National Deaf Awareness Week (September 18 to 24th) by bringing awareness to people who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf blind and late deafened. The trip is limited to 10 people. This event is not for the physically unprepared or for the skinny-tired, touring bike fancier. A mix of paved and gravel roads, and many steep Appalachian hills, on this 11-15 mile ride will demand physical stamina and a bike with mountain bike type tires. Riders will provide their on bikes. With most USA Cycling categories recognized, and over $6,000 in prize money, racers of all levels can attend this event based out of Grand Rapids.
